Liz's work is designed, printed and hand finished in her studio in Gloucestershire combining exciting artwork with high quality traditional craftsmanship.

Liz Lippiatt is fortunate to continue in the tradition of cloth production in the Stroud Valleys from her printing and dyeing studio at Stroud Valleys Artspace, a converted warehouse for artists in the middle of Stroud. Her textiles reflect the traditions of the original Arts and Crafts Movement with a respect for technical skills in her work.

Liz has concentrated her talent designing and printing silks and velvets for fashion accessories, and printing specialist cloth for costume and couture. Through the 1990s she produced two collections a year at London and Paris Fashion Week, establishing accounts with major stores worldwide.  Liz continues to sells a niche range of collectable accessories locally and from her studio by appointment.  Liz thrives on projects working with like-minded designers, and shares her studio with textile artists Sarah Jenner, Corinne Hockley and Francesca Chalk.

The studio is occasionally open to the public as part of major arts festival events in Stroud. Please contact Liz for further details.
